Hedi Minow-Pike
Love of the beauty of the natural world and her desire to share what she saw through her eyes drew her to
pursue photography. Much of her inspiration comes from the New England landscape and its enchanting
seasons as well as from her extensive travel in the U.S. and abroad. Through the lens of her camera she
looks to capture the unique whether it be landscapes, the brilliance of color,or patterns found in nature
depicting some abstract forms. For the past decade,her photography has been exhibited in numerous
galleries and juried shows throughout Connecticut and she has received awards for her work. Currently
some of her photography is on exhibit at the Slater Museum in Norwich and the Carriage Barn Gallery in New
Canaan.
After graduating from Central Connecticut State University (Summa Cum Laude), she pursued a business
career working for several Fortune 500 companies for over two decades. Her passion for photography led
her to leave the business world.
